» The John Jappy Senior Boxing Day Challenge 2009
A brave few came out on a very cold Boxing Day to blow away the cobwebs on a very wintry Bedfordshire Golf Club, helping to raise a fantastic £565 for a great cause in Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Mr. Keith Burgess, a club member, shot a fantastic 44 points to win the famous shield presented by our MD Mr.John Jappy (Jnr).
Special thanks to Mr. Steve Place for donating a game at Woburn, to Mr. Ray Graham for buying it at auction, our own Miss Esmie Jappy for doing a sponsored bike ride and to our Professional Mr. Geraint Dixon for his help and his generosity with the prizes.
